The food was delicious. The service was great. The owner spent a lot of extra time explaining the different dishes and how they’re prepared. Highly recommend! We’ll be back again for sure.

My sister and I decided to try this place while visiting Mt Pleasant. We didn’t have any set expectations. It was a fun surprised! The unique appearance and atmosphere immediately made it enjoyable. We shared a couple plates that were delicious and the owner, Maya, came over and conversed with us and told us about the different types of Kimchi and brought us some samples. We would definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

We were driving to the U.P. from southwest Michigan and stopped midway for lunch at Jib-Bob. Ohhhhh my goodness. Jib-Bob literally means "Mother's Homemade Cooking" and that is exactly what you get here. The owner, Maya, simply cooks the proper Korean food she has always known and loved, and shares it with her customers. We had an amazing array of banchan (side dishes), alongside boiling kimchi jigae (stew) with loads of pork and tofu, a huge portion of grilled marinated pork shoulder, jeon (savory pancake), chicken bibimbap (rice plate), and homemade mandoo (dumplings) with minced pork and vegetables. Everything was fantastic. This is the epitome of the perfect small ethnic eatery where everything is made fresh (sometimes from her own garden!) and right and with care. I have never had Korean food this good, never, not even in all my time in SoCal. Truly a special place.
